When we see all those ‘infomercials” on TV, we have to wonder what they are all about and If they work. You can see everything from weight loss, cooking utensils and how to get rich schemes or formulas on your television. But what do we really know about these products unless we learn more about who is behind them and what they really do. Do they have a track record for success or are they just a gimmick to make somebody else money? You have to do your research.
I must admit that sometimes the pitches put forth on the infomercials really seem intriguing. But so far I have not been caught. I like to do my research before I invest in any of these “too good to be true” advertisements.
I would rather learn about somebody or something that I know is a real success story. Tim Ferriss is such a person. Mr. Ferriss’s book, “The Four Hour Work Week:: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich” a New York Times and USA Today best seller, basically saying that 20% of your benefits comes from 80% of your efforts. Of course this is very much a simplification of what the book is all about but that is it in a nut shell. If you want to know more about Tim Ferriss, his activities and projects, just do a little research like I did.
