Could It Be

These past few months, my daughter always told me that she is growing taller than me. But I always said no, she will be taller than me maybe if she is already in high school. Tonight, when I asked her to take her medicine since she got fever a while ago, I notice that I should have to look up to her anymore. So for me to believe, we went together in front of the mirror, back to back and measure ourselves. And I realized she is an inch taller than me already and she is only 11 years, a grade 5 student. It’s hard to believe but I am glad she is tall, obviously my frustrations.

I know its kinda mixed feelings together, both joy and a little frustration. Joy because she is growing faster and its good; frustration because that makes you feel you are growing older i think. Kids grow so faster that you just cant imagine it sometimes.
