We will soon be moving to a new house. The one we are in is rented so we really don’t feel comfortable with doing much with decorations, especially in the kid’s rooms. When we think of our two girls and our two college age nieces that live with us, we have to think about the décor we want for their rooms. We were thinking for wall decals for our youngest daughter. When choosing wall decals for kids, we know what our youngest daughter likes and after painting her room pink (her favorite color) we were thinking we could put up removable wall decals of her choice.
Removable wall stickers give us and our children the opportunity to move them around or to change them when we want to. We like the flexibility it gives us and our girls when it comes to the designs we want in their rooms. I like the idea that if we buy new furniture or re-arranger our daughter’s rooms we can move the stickers to wall spaces that they can clearly be seen. I have always thought that we should let the kids choose the layout of their rooms and what goes on the walls. But, we have to be realistic with the size and shape of their rooms and the best arrangements for furniture and decorations.
When I think of moving into a new house and how we want to be able to present it to our friends and family, putting removable wall decals in our kid’s bedrooms really seems like a great option to me. Having the flexibility move the stickers and not have to repaint or repair the wall where they were previously locations really seems like a time and money saver. It just makes sense to me, to have wall decorations that can be moved and do not damage the walls. What do you think?
