This Holy Week

The mall is so crowded today, every counter was so busy and mind you, each of the counters got a very long line. We could compare it to Christmas and New Year Season, where you must have to walk sideward’s because of the huge crowd in the grocery department. But I still have to grocery shop today since we don’t have any frozen foods in the fridge anymore.
I patiently waited for my turn in the cashier and was waiting for another hour for a cab going home. I thank GOD that this holy week, we have some foods to eat and was able to pay our electric bill. Anyway, I have so many things to thank GOD now, because he has given me enough happiness that I only dreamed on before. First he gave me a husband who is so understanding and caring; second he gave me two kids who always make my day a complete one. And though we don’t have riches and wealth but because of them, I just own the biggest treasure in the whole world I would always be proud of.
I hope to join the way of the cross here in our place, just like before. Just like what I was used to that even though I was still so sleepy, yet my heart and soul are awake. At 2:00 a.m., we were already walking down the street, praying and meditating. It was indeed a very great experience, yes my feet were so tired but when you know that you were walking with Jesus, all the tiredness I’ve felt was gone. Even those heartaches and pains, he swept it away because he was there and would never left you all alone.

Life is mysterious sometimes

Life is mysterious sometimes, we really could not determine what would happen next even we were so sure about the things we did and decide today. It is also a gamble and the only thing that we could hold on to is our faith that nothing will go wrong.

When I attended a seminar last week, I have learned that not all the people who went abroad succeeded, be it with work or marriage. Some were a victim of human trafficking; they were offered a decent work in exchange with a huge amount of salary only to find out that they would just fall into disgrace and of prostitution. Some got married, hoping that they will have a wonderful marriage, but it went wrong as they were treated like a helper in their own house.

So when you are about to get married with whom you don’t know entirely, you better have to research his background, asked his personal details and all that.

Enjoying Her Mattress

I decided to leave my bed at the old house, so my niece could use it. We were really having a hard time to look for a nice bed with a good quality mattress and that should be affordable too. I was really tight on budget at that time that I needed some time to choose what is best for us and for my budget, knowing I also have to buy a new mattress for Mj for her bedroom.
I was glad to know that our neighbor had a garage sale at that time since they would transfer in Manila for good, and that includes their mattress. It was a bit expensive since the mattress is hypoallergenic but she offered me an installment basis, so it was not that burden to my budget at all.
One month had passed and now we are enjoying her mattress and we already paid the whole amount just last month.

Mellow Yellow Monday # 22 : The Yellow Tag

Monday is here and that means its Mellow Yellow Monday time, and here’s my entry for today.

Mj found this site when we went to Ayala Mall in Cebu, I guess this would fit my entry today. We did not went inside though, Mj is too young for coffee.

I thought when I captured this picture, the SM CEBU tag could not be seen, well in my digi cam it does not look so well, but when I uploaded this to my computer, it is so clear at that. Mj enjoying our meal at the Food court SM Cebu.
