Overwhelmed and Tired

I am still overwhelmed and tired right now, I still can’t think of anything to post some of my blogs are not updated, but I will be back I promised. It is just overly hectic this past few days from doing the paper works for our competition down to the day that our competition was held. I tell you, the moment I entered the gate of Woodridge, I got nervous but then when I was already at the officiating table, the nervous was gone but it was replaced by excitement. I know then that the competition will turn out good.

Not A Bad Idea

When I was growing up, nurses always wore white uniforms, normally a dress, with a funny little hat. Even know I don’t know what that hat was for except to identify the person a nurse. Now when I see nurses when I take my daughters to their pediatrician, I noticed the nurses are dressed a lot more comfortably. No longer are nurses uniforms the basic white, they come in many colors and styles.A To me the nurses look a lot more relaxed wearing those than in those old style starchy white things. They look like they are working in their pajamas. Not a bad idea.

Congratulations DSLSC and Thank You Selina

Yesterday the team hosted a competition for swimming and it was successful. There’s a little problem but it was responded immediately. My daughter got the 4th place but that was okay she told me that she will do better next time, maybe more practice and hard work would contemplate success so better luck next time.

I just would like to congratulate my team the Davao Sea Lion’s Swim Club for a job well done and congratulate to those who won the MVP award. Thank you also for the sponsors who supported us until the competition was finished. Thank you to my friend Selina of Pinay’s Life in America for the sponsorship, your funds did a great help to us. I just told her one time and send her a letter and she response to me immediately. Thank you gurl!

That Will Give Me A Start

I like martial arts movies. And I see lots of kids imitating martial arts when they play. Some of them look like they are pretty skillful but, I think most of them have not formal training. When I look at martial arts, I prefer the more traditional. Something like Muay Thai. I do not know much about it except for what I have read and what I see on television. It looks pretty cool.

If I wanted to learn Muay Thai, I guess I would start with getting myself in better shape before looking for a good muay thai training camp. A training camp with more than 20 years of training both for those who want to be competitive in tournaments and those folks like me, who would want to learn for self-discipline and exercise.

Of course if I learn Muay Thai, I can defend me and my kids if the need ever arose. I may be a small woman, but I am agile and a quick learner. I know that just attending Muay Thai training camp will give me a start, but I must continue to work on and develop my skills. Muay Thai can help me become healthier and to lose some unwanted weight.
