The School Starts On June 13, 2018

The school year just started this Wednesday and I got too busy, although Faith already had a carpool so we don’t need to hop for a Jeepney in the Jeepney stops, I still have to make sure she’s doing okay at her new school. This is already a big school with big class, so expect of 30+ students in the classroom, so while she was riding in a carpool going to school, I hailed a Jeepney with some of her requirements and off I go!

And since they had number of stops to picked more students in our village, I went ahead of her. I was already at school when they arrived, so I guided her to her room. She seems like comfortable already, she saw her classmate from Precious International School. But I know that she’s still finding one classmate whom she will be close with. She tried to communicate with them but to no avail maybe they were just shy of her. Some of her classmates are close to being a teenager and Faith looks like she still in Grade 2.

Her sister was worried when we went there on the 2nd day, because she went to the canteen alone, we waited for her there and Mj noticed she doesn’t have company. I asked Faith if she was bothered and she said confidently not at all. I hope though she can cope up with the subjects especially with Filipino and Aral Panlipunan, although I got her a tutor, I am still worried. I just hope everything will turn out right.

Stroller Bag Or Backpack?

I am contemplating of buying my youngest daughter a backpack or a stroller bag. I really thought to buy a stroller until I sent a message to my friend whose daughter is also studying at the new school. She said that when her daughter was in grade 5 last year they were not using a stroller bag anymore but a backpack. They felt awkward using stroller bag since they are already little teens and you see, my youngest daughter will be in Grade 5 this school year. Good thing, I did not buy yet when I went to the mall last week. I was actually, until now though contemplating whether to buy a stroller bag or a backpack. You see with her new school they should bring books everyday back and forth so to study in advance to cope up. They are actually strict with academics and grades so Faith needs to do her best. Everyday, ever since I enrolled her to the new school, I kept on talking to her that to do her best with her lessons for her not to be left behind. But anyway going back with stroller bag or backpack, I am still confused! Yeah, I am!  My friend told me that carrying backpacks caused his sister to have scoliosis. And I am afraid since my youngest daughter is very thin she might get that too. Oh God! I hope not! What do you think guys? Should I buy backpack or stroller bag.

She Did An Amazing Job

The day before Faith’s recital, my sister told me that Faith was being acknowledged for doing a good job during their practice for their Doxology part. The teacher congratulates for dancing it with all her heart. When my sister told me about this, I can’t help but to get excited.

I thought they will perform it in the morning, since the teacher said she had part in the morning program which is the Matinee. She danced with the hip hop but she was in the back, thus I could not take any picture nor took a video for her. She only joined two parts in the morning. The rest was held in the afternoon.

Nevertheless, they have started the Gala with their inspirational dance “Doxology” I went in front right away so I can see her clearly and they were right she danced it glee this time. She was able to follow the steps with emotions; it was too way different from her performance last year and the previous year. I nearly cried when I saw her dance joyfully and seriously. My eldest daughter approached and said she was so proud of her little sister. This is indeed a milestone for her; I can already say this time that she improved a lot.
