Thank You For The Undying Support ProverbsVille

Yesterday was Mj’s competition for DCAA and as usual I was not there to attend to her in the morning. Just like in DAPRISA she was attended by her teacher at school. One of her teacher fetches her here and sent her to the venue. I was not there because I had work until at 12 noon. I didn’t have to worry anymore of whom I should ask to attend to her because the school represented already. This is what I like of her school because everyone is just so supportive.

When I arrived at the venue, I didn’t expect that her principal is there also to watch her swimming. I was so overwhelmed; it is simply my first time that everyone including the Principal is there to support. If only I can turn back time, I already transferred my eldest daughter to this school way back when I transferred Faith, maybe we did not stop the training because I have the whole school to cheer Mj with her swimming competition. Thank you Proverbsville for the undying support, salute to the Principal and the whole faculty members including the students.

Medical Certificates for Their Competition

Just this week, we were so busy with Mj’s requirement for her competition on Saturday, and her DACS. With her DACS, they need a doctor to sign for her medical certificate. Good thing that one of the parents in the team, her sister is a Pedia and so we were able to have her sign without any fee at all. I have to say thank you to my friend. Right now they are preparing for their competition this Saturday, I don’t know what would be Mj’s result but I hope she can at least break her time or break the time of other swimmers. Good luck to you Mj and good luck to Red Sail Team!

Focus On Training And Everything Will Follow

Now that the Family Day is over, my eldest daughter is then preparing for their competition on March 1; this is her first competition for this year. I am not sure if she could get a medal this time, the last time when she competed in Tagum, she was not able to get one. Oh well, medals doesn’t matter to me, I mean yes it has a big role when you are competing but what is the most important when competing? For me it is the sportsmanship and the camaraderie of each athlete in the event. One more thing that is very important to me is the training; I mean if you are focus with your training, everything will follow.

Congratulations Mj For Breaking Your Time

Last Saturday, we have to wake up at 3 in the morning so we can meet other parents along the way, I did not bring my car this time because I didn’t know the place. Good thing one of the parents offered a ride. So we arrived at the venue at 6:30 in the morning, I thought we were already late but nope it’s not. The warm up started at 7:30 in the morning, the kids had a meeting first for their coach before they had warmed up in the pool.

Mj just had only one month of training after a year of rest, she stopped on October of last year and she just got back last November. I didn’t want her to join but since she likes it and she was really serious with her training, I allowed her. Her coach also suggested that she should join so he can monitor her time, if she is able to break it or not. I was ecstatic when she swim for her first event, at least if she won’t win, she will not be the last swimmer to reach the edge. So far she did a good swim, she did not win but she breaks her time. It is all enough for me because that means she is really serious with her training unlike before that I could not see any strive or goal on her part when she does the sprinting.

This is her breaststroke swim

In the video Mj is wearing the blue cap and blue goggles.

My camera is not that good for taking pictures, good thing that one of the parents had a DSLR camera that he is able to capture Mj on her breaststroke, he tagged me in Facebook and so I save it in my computer.
